Mr. Stevens is a 1986 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Stevens was a software engineer for TRW Space and Defense where he participated in developing and testing the computer operating system software for the B-2 and the prototype F-22 military fighter aircraft, and as a software/netware developer for Intercomputer Communications Corporation (ICC).

Mr. Stevens received his Juris Doctorate in 1995 from the University of Kentucky College of Law. He served as President of the Student Bar Association 1993-94 and received the Faculty Award for “Most Outstanding Contribution to Law School Class” in 1995. Mr. Stevens was a Staff Member, Journal for Environmental and Natural Resources Law, 1993-95, and authored "Corporate Officer Liability under CERCLA, the Kelly v. Tiscornia Analysis," 9 J. Nat. Resources & Envir. L. 553 (1994). He was a member of the National Moot Court Team for Constitutional Law at the University of Kentucky in 1995.

Following law school, Mr. Stevens served for two years as a staff attorney for the Honorable Thomas B. Russell, U.S. District Court for the Western District Kentucky.

Mr. Stevens practices in the areas of medical negligence litigation, business and complex litigation, products liability litigation, and employment law litigation. He has acted as lead trial counsel in a number of trials throughout the state of Kentucky. With respect to appellate practice, Mr. Stevens has briefed and/or argued cases before the Kentucky Court of Appeals, Kentucky Supreme Court and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Stevens is admitted to practice in Kentucky, U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western District of Kentucky and for the Southern District of Indiana, and the Sixth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.
