Allison O. Wildman, Partner

Allison has spent her career dedicated to defending medical malpractice and product liability litigation. Her practice includes representation of hospital, nursing home, physician, physician practice and nursing home defendants in medical negligence lawsuits through all phases of discovery, trial and appeal. She also has experience in dispute resolution on behalf of hospitals and physicians, hospital risk management and drafting of policies and procedures to comply with changing statutory and regulatory law. Allison has worked with healthcare clients on patient safety and sentinel event investigation.  In addition to an active healthcare practice, Allison has defended product and medical device manufacturers in complex litigation. 

A Buffalo, New York native, Allison is a graduate of Colgate University (B.A., 1998), where she majored in history and minored in political science. Allison completed her Juris Doctorate at the University of Kentucky College of Law (2001). While at the University of Kentucky College of Law, she was honored for her academic achievements with the Colvin P. Rouse Kentucky Law Journal Writing Award and Scholarship for “Best Student Note,” 2001 authoring “Scaling the Wall Between Church and State: An Analysis of the Constitutionality of School Vouchers,” published Volume 89, No. 2, Kentucky Law Journal, 2000-2001.  She was also member of the Kentucky Law Journal, Trial Advocacy Board, and Phi Delta Phi.  

Allison is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, the Louisville Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute.  Allison is active in community and regional hospital affairs, with service on the Kentucky Hospital Association Board, Norton Audubon Hospital Ethics Committee, St. Margaret Mary Catholic Community and School Parent Teacher Association.   

In her spare time, she enjoys biking with her two daughters, shopping for shoes, and watching Dateline.
